    Amazing Sandwiches!  Hands down some of the best food we ate during our vacation.  Do yourself a favor and leave the strip.

    Classic Deli great sandwiches, cold beer and dirty chips. My Reuben was on point just the right amount of sauerkraut and dressing. B
    Had a 10th Street wrap it had to be good because she wasn't talking.

    When I'm in Virginia Beach I make a point of coming thru this spot for a quick and tasty meal. It's such a cool vibe with delicious sandwiches & salads...and you can even grab a beer. But what separates them from everyone else is the talent, yep I'm calling them talent, that works there. A year after my first visit the ladies behind the counter remembered exactly what I ordered.  That's skill...who does that? People who care about the people they serve. It's nice when a place gets it and they do at Tads.

    The vibe of this place makes my Cali heart happy. Food was prepared fast and so fresh. Parking lot is very small. Will definitely be coming back.

    Tad's Deli closes at 6, which I didn't expect, so I came in terribly close to closing on my first visit. It feels a bit cramped inside, and there's only a handful of booths and tables to sit at, although there's also some outside seating as well.

    Fortunately, I had looked at a menu ahead of time, so I was able to make a snap decision (I ordered The Sailor) instead of being first faced with the plethora of options when I already felt rushed (I should note that *I* made myself feel rushed, none of the employees seemed to treat me with annoyance for coming in just 20 minutes before closing, though I would have understood if they had). My sandwich came out quickly and tasted great. Definitely a place I'd like to visit again if I can get out there early enough.
